15 yr. old with elbow pain, JV baseball pitcher

by Dave Dannenbrink
(Sacramento, CA)

JV baseball pitcher. Seems to radiate from the unlnar (?) side halfway down the forearm, up the tricep side a little.

Pain can be sharp in the joint. Would your Tennis elbow DVD be appropriate?

In Sacramento, just a bit too far to travel for a session.

Hello Dave.

The quick answer to your question is yes, The Tennis Elbow Treatment That Works would be appropriate for you.

It doesn't sound like Tennis Elbow per se, just from what you've said, but you can apply what you learn on there to the triceps side of your elbow too.

You can be having a Tendonitis dynamic above the elbow instead of below.

Or, you might be irritating your joint when you throw, in which case, the dvd will help but I can't estimate how much, it just all depends.

A. Does it feel like 'jointitis'? Meaning, joint pain as opposed to the soft tissue surrounding/attached to the joint?

B. When you pitch, do you snap your arm at all. There is of course force applied to the elbow, by 'snap' I mean...well...snap. Less smooth, or more smooth on the motion?
