Chronic Tendonitis Of The Right And Left Wrists In Canada

by Jennifer
(Ottawa Canada)

My name is Jennifer and I am 27 Years old and a mother of 2 girls.

My doctor has told me that i have chronic Tendonitis of my right and left wrists I have had it for the past 3 years.

Right now my right wrist is in a lot of pain and have been so for 4 days, this time it feels as though it is getting worse not only does my wrist hurt but my thumb and index finger are in pain.

It also feels like it has gone into my elbow making it throb and feel like a nerve is being pinched at times i wear a brace a lot of the time and it helps but not the pain in my fingers or my elbow, when i take my brace off my wrist it just starts throbbing.

Yesterday i took my toddler to the doctors and i went to pick her up and i almost dropped her the pain was extreme and so sudden, my wrist felt like it was about to pop out of the joint, i have a lot of clicking in my wrist and it doesn't take much movement, but if it happens while I am picking something or my child up the pain i get is severe and makes my wrist throb like it is sprained.

A short while ago my middle finger as well started to throb, looking at my hands you wouldn't think that anything is wrong i do not know what to do i take Tylenol for the pain and have a wrist brace and ice packs but the relief is only short lived.

What else can i do to help the pain that sometimes lasts for months?

Thank you so much for your time

Jennifer

Hi Jennifer.

There's a bunch of things you could try...

1. Ice Dip instead of ice pack, as described on the How To Reduce Inflammation.

2. Get a Vitamin D test and find out how deficient you are. (You are.)

3. Supplement with Magnesium for Tendonitis, and click on the bottom of that page to find out about Magnesium Dosage.

4. Inflammation Causes Vitamin B6 Deficiency.

Supplement with B6. Might as well do B12 too, make
sure it's methylcobalamin.

5. Increase your protein intake.

6. Get the The Tennis Elbow Treatment That Works. That will give you a lot of effective information and save me a lot of typing:)

That explosive pain when picking something up means that you have acute Process of Inflammation, a nervous system that is VERY on edge and overprotective, and that you are structurally very tight and connective tissue is shrunkwrapped and pulling with constant tension.

A little bit of muscle contraction pulls on extra-sensitive tissue and neuroreceptors and BAM there is a huge pain response, a response designed to keep you from moving and hurting yourself more.

You're only 27. Should you be having so much pain at 27? That question is pretty irrelevant because you do have pain and issue.

Here's some factors.

1. Historically you probable don't eat very nutrionally dense food.

2. You are almost certainly vitamin D deficient. Living that far north, there just isn't any Vitamin D in the sunshine for much of the year, and you probably aren't outside much the rest of the year, and if you do, you probably use sun screen.

3. Having kids can take a lot out of you, nutritionally.

It may very well be that much of this is due to nutrient deficiency, and/or that could just be keeping you from healing. That's my guess.

QUESTIONS:

1. What do you do with your hands that could have caused Wrist Tendonitis symptoms?

2. Why exactly does your dr. think you have tendonitis, as opposed to anything else?

3. What does your food intake look like?

4. Any other health issues?

5. Anything else good for me to know that might explain why you hurt, and why you continue to hurt?
