Left thumb knuckle tendonitis and pain especially when I grip anything

my pain get worst when i try to grip anything or slightly turn my wrist, also i get a burning throbbbing sensation(it goes up my arm) that just wont ease up sometimes.

i have already been to a specialist in the past few months i had the cortisone shot and it helped for a minute(months). but then it started to feel like i had a bone that was sticking up so i started back wearing the wrist jacket(bandage) to push it back in place.

it isn't getting any better i need to know what i need to do to get rid of this pain and everything else that comes with it?

Hi Needra.

Tendonitis pain and symptoms can show up anywhere.

I have some questions for you.

1. Where -exactly- is the pain? All over, just the thumb, etc?

2. Is it an in the joint pain or on the joint pain?

3. What have you done for it so far other than Corticosteroid Injections and Wrist splints and braces?

4. Age?

5. History of injury?

6. What activities do you use your hands for?
